We’re proud to share that a $3,000 donation was made to the Nanaimo Child Development Centre on behalf of the Rotary Club of Nanaimo. Following some recent work we completed for the Club, they generously offered to make a charitable donation, and we were honoured to choose the CDC. The Centre provides free therapy, early development programs, and vital family support helping children and youth across our community reach their full potential. We’re grateful to support such impactful work.

We are incredibly proud to have partnered with the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation. We pledged to match all donations up to $75,000, and thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, that goal was met! These funds have directly contributed to the purchase of two additional NICU incubators, providing critical care for newborns in need.

Following the heavy snowfall in late winter, our dedicated crew worked tirelessly to clear snow and keep our site and access roads safe. Thanks to their efforts, Milner Group remained open throughout the storm, ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers.

In response to the severe storms of Fall 2024, Milner Recycling offered free yard waste disposal to help the community clean up storm debris. Residents were invited to bring fallen branches, broken trees, and other storm-related yard waste to our facility free of charge.

We were proud to support our community during the cleanup efforts and appreciate everyone who participated in keeping our island beautiful.
